  • This 1-Day class is jam packed with decades of experience. Your expert instructors will teach everything you need to know to get your large game animal into the freezer. Will, owner of the Piked Antler will walk you every step of the way teaching you how to skin and quarter a deer, butcher different cuts of meat, how to cut them, how to cut jerky and more.

    You will also go go home with 2-5 pounds of quality aged venison, on the house. That’s around $40-$100 worth of aged wild venison.

  • Modern teams face burnout, weak communication, and low collaboration—but team building doesn’t have to feel forced or awkward. Our corporate wilderness experiences are fun, high-energy events filled with laughter, smiles, and plenty of light-hearted moments, all while building real skills together.

    Teams choose their own duration and intensity, from engaging 4-hour experiences to multi-day adventures, across three challenge levels. Along the way, participants learn, joke, problem-solve, and support one another—culminating in a skill-based team challenge that builds genuine, earned confidence through real application, not artificial hype.

    The result? Stronger trust, better communication, and confidence that sticks—because it was built, not handed out.

  • Learning to provide for your family from the land is deeply empowering. Whether you're new to hunting or just curious why so many love it, this is where to begin.

    In this 2-day class, expert instructors share decades of experience focused on hunting whitetail deer in the Appalachian Mountains — where terrain makes a big difference.

    You’ll learn:

    * Food sources & tracking

    * Setup strategies

    * Tree stand vs. blind

    * Camouflage & scent control

    * Key hunting laws

    * Gun vs. archery basics

    ...and more.

    By the end of this two-day immersive class, you’ll have the skills and knowledge typically gained through six years of hunting experience—ready to confidently head into the woods with your weapon of choice.

  • Forget boring lectures and Latin names you'll never remember! This hands-on, story-filled class is designed for actual retention—whether you're a hunter, hiker, homesteader, or just want the confidence to know nature's pharmacy is all around you. Through laughter, storytelling, and mnemonic techniques, you'll learn foundational plant identification skills that stick. We meet you exactly where you are and build from there. Four hours of fun, practical knowledge you'll actually use.

  • The Piked Antler Project, LLC is a veteran-owned company in Wester North Carolina founded in 2017, that offers powerful, hands-on experiences in the forest that build confidence, connection, and real-world skills. Through guided challenges, you’ll learn fire-building, navigation, shelter, and teamwork—no experience needed. Each event is designed to help you reconnect with yourself, others, and the natural world in a supportive, encouraging environment. This is growth through adventure—purposeful, unforgettable, and real.

  • The Piked Antler Project classes are physically active but intentionally paced for learning and stamina. You'll be on your feet most of the day in all these courses, with structured breaks built in. Edible Plants and Deer Hunting 101 are all-day, on-foot classes with breaks every 45 minutes to reset your body and focus. How to Process Deer is more flexible—sit, snack, and hydrate as needed while staying hands-on and engaged. Expect movement, not exhaustion.

    Shelter Building is hands on all day long. This is best done in groups so that everyone gets hands on application and isn’t overloaded with the work. Come ready with gloves and plenty of snacks and hydration. Building shelter takes work! And it’s worth it!!!

LOCAL VETERAN OWNED BUSINESSES THAT WE SUPPORT AND WHO SUPPORT US.

Whether you’re surviving in the forest, the battle field, PTSD or just life, we all need each other at some point. The Warrior Clan and Mountain Man Worx are two local and Veteran owned companies that share a similar mission: To Help, Teach and Protect our community members.

All of us spent time overseas while in the U.S. Military fighting for our country. When we came home, we decided to keep the mission vision going. We all love helping our community members through counsel and teaching, and that is what we do.
