Things you’ll want to know…

  • Our core philosophies don't allow us to only meet the normal standard, but rather exceed it, in our unorthodox approach. We strive to allow every student to see one others' strengths, weaknesses and contributions to the team. Any bullying will be humbled tactfully. Teamwork is required to complete most of the skill challenges. Our approach to Survival is simple. Prepare our youth for survival and for life situations by addressing the mindset and learning how to troubleshoot their own problems, which entails coaching the kids through their own limiting beliefs about themselves. We teach kids how to handle challenges by allowing them to experience the patience required to trouble shoot their tasks. These skills become useful in everyday interactions and aids in trouble shooting negative thought cycles that we all have experienced. We focus on Camaraderie, Respect, Ownership and Resilience with our students. We focus on this through teaching real world survival skills that will Save their "Ash", Test their Grit, and Build their Worth.

  • Expect your kid(s) to come home tired and stinky with minds full of epic memories and priceless skills.

The Piked Antler Project is not about following the guidelines suggested by society. We find that pushing the “norm” is the not only the key to our success, but it’s also the foundational belief of the company.

Expect your kid(s) to come home with new concepts to apply to their lives. As a group, the instructors lead conversations about what it means to have self worth and self-value; what it means to be a partner in any relationship whether it be with family or friends; why bullies bully and how to handle them; getting out of victim mindsets and managing self development. The biggest focus we take pride in is teaching the kids how to earn self esteem and confidence by coaching them into setting standards for themselves. This is paramount!

Some skills we cover are map & compass use, basic wilderness first aid, building survival shelters and primitive campfires, navigating with the stars and moon, water purification, animal tracking, knot tying all while building Self-Esteem, Self-Value, Self-Respect, Growth Mindset, respect for others and the biggest one....Ownership of one's own actions.

Kid's Adventure Survival Summer Camp with the Piked Antler Project is definitely not your every day Summer Camp.

Your kid(s) will learn so many skills that not only are life saving skills, but they will learn them in super fun, interactive and playful way, nothing too intense for their age group.

The kids will be playing in the woods, making tools, shelters and fires. They will get to dig holes for fires and worms, and so much more.
