Appalachia Survival Games 2.5-A weekend of skill and experiences you’ll carry—and pass on—forever
Where skill meets strategy, and your team earns every victory.
Imagine spending a weekend in the Appalachian wilderness learning how to work with the land, solve problems as a team, and compete in challenges that test your thinking, communication, and grit—all while laughing more than you have in years. That’s exactly what this is.
Over three days (Friday evening through Sunday afternoon) on private land, you’ll learn fire-making, shelter building, navigation, water procurement, and foraging through hands-on instruction. Then you’ll put those skills to the test in timed, team-based challenges that demand clear thinking and problem-solving. Can your team build a debris shelter in 20 minutes? Start a fire using only natural materials while the clock is ticking? Navigate to checkpoints using nothing but a map and compass—or solve riddles and clues that determine your next move?
Here’s what makes this different: you’re camping on secure private property, eating the food you bring, and sleeping in your own tent. No forced suffering. No starvation. No 10-mile death marches. The outdated idea that growth only comes through misery is over. This is about real challenge, real engagement, and real learning—without unnecessary discomfort.
Don’t have a team? No problem. Teams form naturally during introductions on Friday evening. Come solo, with friends, or as a couple—everyone finds their crew.
This is training that feels like the best weekend you’ve had in years. Real skills. Real fun. Real connections.
