  • How to Process Large Game (Deer)

    Join us for an exciting opportunity on December 7, 2024, as we present another high-value class. Ever heard someone say, "I'd love to learn how to hunt for wild game, but I wouldn't know what to do next"? This class is designed precisely for those curious minds.

    We'll be focusing on the essential steps involved after making a successful shot or kill. You'll have the chance to work with dry-aged deer, which offers a cleaner experience due to minimal blood and makes meat cutting much easier.

    In the comfort of a sanitized and warm environment—my home—you'll learn various techniques, including hide removal, meat cutting, grinding for chuck, sausage making, jerky preparation, and vacuum sealing for freezer storage. Guiding us will be a professional butcher and an experienced survivalist to ensure a comprehensive learning experience.

    Oh, and did I forget to mention? Everyone attending will receive a few pounds of venison to take home, on the house!

    Ticket cost for the 7 hour class: 1 Adult ticket is $150 and 1 Youth ticket (8-17 years old) is just $50.
