Self-Defense & Self-Defense Psychology

With years of martial arts experience, boxing competitions, training Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, Krav Maga and multiple styles of self-defense, I have hand selected the most effective and learnable movements and concepts for you to start understanding how to defend yourself.

This class, whether 4 or 16 hours long, explores our natural instinctive responses (MRP/Motor Recruitment Pattern). For example, when startled, we flinch, and when scared, our body reacts. I use these natural reactions as tools.

Some courses focus on complex techniques like boxing moves and Jiu Jitsu, which most people won't remember. This can mislead you into thinking you're prepared, but in a real situation, you may forget everything because those skills require extensive practice to master. This could lead to danger, which is why we avoid teaching complex movements.

Instead, we build on your natural instincts to create effective self-defense methods. Your body already knows what to do. I will help you turn your natural responses into practical self-defense techniques.

Self-defense is different from fighting. While both involve conflict, self-defense should be short, simple, and very effective. That's what you will learn.
